What’s in the demo
The demo is a ready-made sample shop, so you don’t start with an empty screen. It includes:
- A product catalogue with categories, ready to sell on the till
- 90 days of sample sales, so reports and dashboards are full of data
- A demo supplier for trying supplier ordering
- Health & Safety temperature logs for fridges and freezers, covering the last 7 days
- A demo loyalty customer and a live “Buy Coffee, Get Cookies Free” offer, valid for the current hour
- A demo staff login for the till app
How to use the demo
All the logins you need are on the POSable demo page.
1. Dashboard (back office) Open the dashboard and sign in with the demo email and password.
2. Till app (Android or Windows) You’ll need an Android tablet running Android 10 or later or a Windows tablet running Windows 10 or later.
- Install the POSable app from Google Play.
- Enter the demo Tenant ID.
- Sign in with the demo Staff ID and PIN.
3. Loyalty app Scan the QR code on the demo page, or open the loyalty app and sign in with the demo customer email and password.
A 15-minute demo tour
In the dashboard:
- Browse products and categories, and edit a price
- Open the sales reports. The 90 days of sample sales show trends, top products and payment methods.
- Create a loyalty offer, then find it in the loyalty app
- View the Health & Safety temperature logs
- Try supplier ordering and shelf labels
- Open the AI report. The demo shows a sample report, marked as a sample.
On the till:
- Ring up a sale and take a cash payment
- Print or re-print a receipt, and try a refund
- Test offline mode: turn off WiFi, keep selling, then reconnect and watch the sales sync to the dashboard
In the loyalty app:
- Sign in as the demo customer and view the “Buy Coffee, Get Cookies Free” offer
- Scan the customer’s loyalty barcode on the till, sell a coffee, and watch the free cookies apply
Good to know
- The demo resets every hour, on the hour. Anything you add or change is wiped, and the demo page shows the next reset time.
- It’s shared. Other people may be using the demo at the same time, so you might see their changes. Don’t enter real customer or personal information.
- Card payments are disabled. You can take cash sales, but no card terminal can be connected. Card payments with Dojo, Teya, myPOS or Gravity Payments work in the free trial.
The 15-day free trial
What you get
- Your own private POSable account on the plan you choose (Core or AI, for up to 5 or up to 10 devices)
- The dashboard, till app, loyalty app and Shop Floor web app
- Live card payments with your own provider account (You will need to arrange this – we can introduce you)
- Everything you set up carries over. Products, staff and settings are kept when your trial becomes a paid subscription.
- Help getting started, including the guided tutorial, the Quick Setup wizard and our help guides
How the trial works
- Sign up and choose your plan and billing (monthly or yearly).
- Add your card details. You won’t be charged during the trial.
- Set up your shop. The guided tutorial and Quick Setup walk you through it. Coming from another POS? Import your products by CSV.
- Install the till app, add your staff and connect your printer and card terminal.
- Trade for real. Try a busy day, offline mode, reports and loyalty.
- Three days before the trial ends, we’ll email you a reminder.
- Carry on or cancel. If you do nothing, your plan starts automatically on day 15. If POSable isn’t for you, cancel from Billing & Subscription in your dashboard before the trial ends, and you won’t be charged.
You can change plan during the trial from Billing → Change Plan. There’s one free trial per business.
