Why POSable + Teya

Card payments that fit the way you trade

POSable is the software layer. Teya is your payment provider. Together they give you a practical checkout without locking you into one route.

Card payments from the till

Take card payments on the Teya Pro straight from the POSable app on Android or Windows. Cash, card and split payments sit in one checkout flow.

No POS markup on card fees

POSable is not a payment processor and adds no markup to your card fees. You agree your rates directly with Teya, so you know exactly where you stand.

Split payments made easy

Customer wants to pay part in cash and part by card? Take the cash first and POSable sends the remaining balance to the Teya terminal.

Built for real trading days

POSable keeps selling when the network dips and syncs when you are back online. The Teya Pro also includes a SIM card for mobile data and can use Wi-Fi, according to Teya.

Sales visible in one dashboard

See live sales, payments, stock and staff activity in the POSable cloud dashboard, and export sales data to CSV for your accountant.

Use the devices you own

POSable runs on Android tablets and Windows PCs. Plan 1 covers up to 5 devices from £20/month, so you can add tills as you grow.

About the partnership

Keep control of your payment provider

POSable integrates with several card providers, including Dojo, Teya, myPOS and Gravity Payments (US), rather than forcing one locked payment route. That means you can compare terms and keep your negotiating power.

  • The Teya Pro is the Teya terminal POSable integrates with. Teya describes it as a card machine with a large touchscreen, an included SIM card and a battery rated for 14+ hours of continuous use.
  • Accepts everyday payment types: chip and PIN, contactless and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Payouts are handled by Teya. Teya lets you choose your payout timing, from standard business-day settlement to everyday or instant settlement at an extra percentage on your rate.
  • No contract with POSable. Cancel any time; updates and support are included in your subscription.

Teya features and payout terms are described by Teya and may change. Always confirm current details at teya.com.

FAQ

POSable and Teya: your questions answered

Does POSable work with Teya card payments?

Yes. POSable integrates with Teya and supports the Teya Pro card reader, so card payments are taken on the Teya terminal directly from the POSable till.

Which Teya card machine works with POSable?

POSable currently integrates with the Teya Pro card reader. Check with POSable support before ordering if you are considering a different Teya device.

Does POSable charge a fee or markup on Teya card payments?

No. POSable is the point of sale software layer, not a payment processor, and we do not add a markup to your card fees. Your processing rates and terminal costs are agreed directly between you and Teya. See our transaction fees FAQ for more.

Can I use my existing Teya account with POSable?

If you already use Teya, you can start a free trial or get in touch and we will help you check that your set-up works with POSable. If you are new to Teya, you arrange your account and terminal with Teya and we can point you in the right direction.

Can customers split a payment between cash and card?

Yes. Press SPLIT PAYMENT in POSable, enter the cash amount taken first, and the remaining balance is requested on the Teya card terminal.

How quickly will I receive my Teya takings?

That is set by Teya, not POSable. According to Teya, you can choose how often you are paid: business day settlements at the standard rate, everyday settlements (including weekends) or instant settlements for an extra percentage on your rate, or scheduled payouts after 3, 7, 15 or 30 days. Always check the current settlement options and fees with Teya.

What happens to POSable if the internet drops?

POSable is built to keep trading offline and syncs your sales back to the cloud dashboard when you reconnect. The Teya Pro includes a SIM card for mobile data and can connect over Wi-Fi, according to Teya, so the card terminal has its own connection options. Read more about how POSable works offline.

How much does POSable cost?

POSable plans start from £20 per month for up to 5 devices, with a 15-day free trial and no long-term contract. See the pricing page for current plans. Teya charges are separate and agreed with Teya.
