How to Access the POSable Admin Backoffice
To facilitate your initial login, please utilize the credentials supplied upon registration for the complimentary 15-day trial of POSable, which includes a Tenant ID and password. The email address used during registration will serve as your login identifier.
What is the Tenant ID?
The Tenant ID is a unique identifier assigned specifically to your account. It is essential for each Android tablet upon which you install the POSable application. During your first login to the POSable app on a device, you will be prompted to enter this ID.
This Tenant ID establishes a connection between your tablets and the admin dashboard, enabling seamless synchronization of data across all devices and your dashboard.
Security Enhancement: Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
For added security, it is highly recommended that you enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) after your initial login. This feature can be activated by accessing the staff page. Click the menu link
DASHBOARD USERS
You can view the 2FA status for each user. If the status is currently disabled click on the shield icon in the ‘Actions’ options to begin activation.
This will require the use of your mobile device to scan the QR Code displayed.
We recommend using the Google Authenticator App for your 2FA codes. Simply open the App scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instructions.
Security Recommendation: Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
While 2FA is not mandatory for all aspects of the POSable admin dashboard, it is a critical security feature for certain sensitive functions. Specifically, actions such as deleting all data and initiating a complete reset require the verification of a 2FA code. This measure ensures that significant operations are performed intentionally and reduces the risk of accidental or unauthorized data loss.
Given the importance of safeguarding your account and data, it is strongly advised to enable 2FA. Doing so provides an additional layer of security, protecting your account from potential unauthorized access during critical administrative tasks.
Password Recovery
If you have forgotten your password, please navigate to the login page and click on the “Forgot Password” link. Enter the email address associated with your POSable account during registration. A new password will then be sent to that email address, allowing you to regain access.
Tenant ID Retrieval
In case you have misplaced your Tenant ID, simply log into your dashboard. Your Tenant ID is displayed prominently at the top of the left-hand menu for easy reference.
