POSable was founded by a retail entrepreneur with over 25 years of
hands-on experience running a seasonal ice cream shop and festival stands across the UK and EU. The founder built POSable to solve a recurring problem: unreliable point-of-sale systems that failed during busy trading periods, required expensive support contracts, and punished businesses for growing seasonally.
Operating from Perranporth, Cornwall, POSable is now used by independent retailers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
The team is dedicated to providing affordable, offline-capable retail software that prioritises reliability over unnecessary features, with customer support available Monday-Saturday during trading hours.

A Note From Our Founder
I didn’t come from tech — I came from the beach, the markets, and the festival fields. For over 25 years, I ran stalls, shops, and seasonal businesses across the UK, learning the hard way how unreliable and overpriced POS systems could impact a day’s takings.
POSable exists because those systems kept failing us. I built it for traders like me: people hustling in all weathers, dealing with patchy WiFi, tight margins, and unpredictable seasons. No contracts, no hidden fees, no penalties for growing — just simple, reliable tech that works when you need it most.
