To log in to the POSable dashboard (the Backoffice), click Login on posable.co.uk. Or go directly to https://dashboard.posable.co.uk.
Sign in with the email address you registered with and the password from your welcome email.
This guide is for owners and managers who run POSable from a browser. It also covers two-factor authentication (2FA) and what to do if you forget your password or email.
Important: Your dashboard login (email and password) is not the same as the till login. Till staff sign in to the POSable app with their own 6-digit PIN. Your Tenant ID links each till device to your account.
| What | What it’s for | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Your dashboard username | The email you registered with |
| Password | Dashboard sign-in | Your welcome email. Use Forgot Password to get a new one |
| Tenant ID | Links each till device to your account (entered once per install) | Your welcome email, or the top of the dashboard’s left-hand menu |
| 2FA code | Extra security, and needed for the Demo Installer and for removing Administrator users | Google Authenticator, once you’ve set up 2FA |
| Staff PIN (6 digits) | Signing in to the till app, not the dashboard | Set up under App Users |
When you sign up for your 15-day free trial, you get a welcome email with your password and your Tenant ID. Keep it somewhere safe.
Either:
Enter the email address you registered with and the password from your welcome email.
On your first login, POSable gives you three options:
Pick whichever suits you. You can come back to the tutorials at any time from Help & Tutorials.
Tip: Next, set up your business details, currency, VAT and card payments.
Your Tenant ID is shown at the top of the left-hand menu. You’ll need it once for each till you install.
Note: We’ve tested Google Authenticator. Other authenticator apps may work, but we haven’t tested them.
That’s it. You’re logged in and your account is protected.
Your Tenant ID is a unique identifier for your POSable account. It connects your till devices to your dashboard, so products, settings and sales sync between them.
You only need it in the till app, not to log in to the dashboard, and only once per device:
Once validated, the app won’t ask for your Tenant ID again unless you do a clean install (for example, on a replacement tablet).
Lost your Tenant ID? Log in to the dashboard and look at the top of the left-hand menu.
You don’t need 2FA to log in day to day, but we strongly recommend it:
I’ve forgotten my password
I’ve lost my Tenant ID
The till app is asking for my Tenant ID again
I can’t remember which email I registered with
My staff can’t log in to the dashboard
Use the email address you registered with and the password from your welcome email. Click Login on posable.co.uk, or go straight to https://dashboard.posable.co.uk[1].
It’s in your welcome email. If you’ve lost it, log in to the dashboard and you’ll see it at the top of the left-hand menu.
No. You log in to the dashboard with your email and password. The Tenant ID is only for the till app: you enter and validate it once when you install the app on a device, and you won’t be asked again unless you do a clean install.
On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password and enter your registered email address. POSable emails a new password to that address.
You don’t need it to log in day to day, but we strongly recommend it. 2FA is required to use the Demo Installer and to remove Administrator users, which protects your account against malicious deletions. An Administrator or Assistant Manager enables it for you, and you complete the setup on your own phone.
We’ve tested Google Authenticator and recommend it. Other authenticator apps may work, but we haven’t tested them.
