Creating a Device
There is no requirement to manually create or register a device intended for use with the POSable POS application. The device will automatically register itself upon logging into the app with your account credentials.
For users operating multiple devices, it is advisable to assign identifiable names to each device. To do so, log into the POSable Backoffice and select the APP DEVICES menu option.
This section provides a comprehensive overview of the devices associated with your plan and details your current usage. The professional plan permits the operation of up to five devices, while the professional + plan supports up to ten devices. Should your needs exceed these limits, please contact our support team for assistance.
To assign a name to a device, click on the edit icon next to the device and enter an appropriate label, such as COUNTER, HATCH 1, or MAPLE STREET COFFEE SHOP.
Deleting a Device
Devices can be removed from this page, which will free up your device quota. In case of accidental deletions—such as if a tablet is knocked off a counter and its screen is broken—the POSable system allows for rapid re-registration of new devices to ensure minimal disruption to your operations.
